My mid years resolution!

I am absolutely terrible a new years resolutions! I either forget to make them or don't even stick to them so nowadays i just don't even bother to make one, i just try my best to improve things in my life in my own time and when i feel like i need to make changes, wow that sounded cringe. Anyway, onto the point I'm actually trying to make, IVE MADE A MID YEARS RESOLUTION! 

So basically i started this blog and i was super excited, and i still am i just feel like i don't have anything interesting to write about, but I'm going to try and change that. Starting now! I've wanted a blog for ages but never got round to actually creating one, so i finally created one and i don't actually have anything to write about, oh the irony. But now I'm going to try my best to go out there and actually find things to blog about, which i hope are interesting, ha. 

I also feel like I'm going to have the opportunity blog about things that are coming up in my life; just even things like going out to cute places that i can share or events that happen in my life and the thing I'm most excited about is having the chance to do ootd's (outfit of the day, if you didn't know) and maybe a few reviews on stuff that I've recently bought, maybe even a few hauls. Okay now I'm rambling but basically i just want to blog some interesting things and i wanted to say that I'm going to make a full hearted attempt and try to write something at least half interesting (not like this sham that your currently reading, haha!)

the POREfessional, benefit cosmetic review.

the POREfessional

"You have to try POREfessional" is literally all i heard for weeks from friends and family who have tried the product, so i went ahead and tried it. There always seems to be a big hype about this product and everyone i ask seems to love it so i thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a go. I got a small sample size tube in one of the makeup sets that benefit sell, although the standard bottle retails for £24.50. They come in a 'squeezy tube' and a little bit definitely goes a long way!

POREfessional is a primer so it is applied to the face before any other makeup. You squeeze a small amount onto the hand and rub around to 'warm it up' it is then applied to the face. This product is designed to keep makeup on for a longer period of time and to reduce the visibility of pores on the face. Reluctantly, I'd have to say that when i used it my makeup did stay on for a little while longer. I say 'reluctantly' because as a whole i don't really like the product.

Personally, i don't really understand the hype about this primer because i don't think it is really all that good. Yes, it does keep on our makeup for longer, but i experienced quite a few break out of spots whilst using the product. Even though i was breaking out in spots i carried on using the product as i didn't know if it was just my skin having a bad few days (this was definitely not the case, haha!) My face wasn't covered in spots or anything (a few spots would appear as the others were going) but it still made me feel, well, ugly! After this i stopped using the product and just started to apply some powder if my makeup was starting to come off, this did the trick perfectly! (and didn't give me bad skin!)

A couple of weeks later i decided i would try to use the primer again, because after all maybe i was just having a 'bad skin week'. So i began to use the product once again, and not to my surprise i started to break out again(aarrgh so annoying!) After this i instantly stopped using the product and just used powder (you cant complain when its a cheaper alternative and doesn't give you bad skin, can you!)
After my experience with the POREfessional i defiantly would not recommend the product, to anyone! I find that a nice powder is better for me and works the same, if not better!

My first blog!

Hey guys, welcome to my very first blog!

Hi guys! As you could probably tell from the title this is my very first blog. Ive been wanting to start a blog for a while now, but I suppose I never really had the courage (I still don't really, but here goes!) 

This blog at the moment isn't particularly themed as I've only just started blogging and I don't know which theme I'd like to talk about the most, as of yet. So you're probably wondering what this blog could be about if it isn't themed yet; well I have answers!:) I thought it would be a good idea seen as though I have only just started to blog about my life and everything that goes with it! It could mean I blog about certain restaurants I went to or maybe reviews on different products, but because I am brand new to blogging I though firstly I would introduce my life to you so you can just see me and who I am (not that I'm exactly interesting, but who knows hopefully you'll be entertained reading what I like and where I go, haha!)
